Set in an alternate America where witches ended their persecution 300 years ago by cutting a deal with the burgeoning U.S. government to fight for their country, Motherland: Fort Salem follows three young women, Raelle Collar, Abigail Bellweather, and Tally Craven, from basic training in combat into early deployment at Fort Salem. In this world, the traditional roles of gender and power are flipped, with the more dominant women on the frontlines fighting looming terrorist attacks with storm and fury. Motherland: Fort Salem was renewed for season 2, and the new season premiered on June 22, 2021. You can watch season 1 now on Freeform.com or Hulu. Episodes of season 2 have now concluded and are also available on those streaming services. On August 23, it was announced that Motherland had been renewed for a third season. This will be the program's final season. The third season is set to premiere on June 21, 2022.
